No two treatments are the same. These are the factors that truly determine how many sessions you will need:
- The size and density of the area: a few isolated hairs on the chin is not the same as a full upper lip.
- The cause of the hair: hormonal hair (PCOS, menopause, thyroid changes) can keep activating new follicles during treatment, which extends the process.
- Your hair removal history: years of waxing or plucking distort and strengthen follicles, which become more resistant and curved and require more passes.
